Each LST group usually plans a party, and on Sunday we decided to have an "Un-birthday party" (which is semi-fitting since my birthday is on Friday!!) We decorated the room like a birthday party, had about 30 people there altogether during the whole time, and it went really well!
We played some games which included one where we placed words and definition into balloons-they had to pop them, take the word or definition and match it up with the person who had the word or definition that matched.
Then, we had them pass balloons with chopsticks, which was quite hilarious!
After that, we had common idioms that we use, and they had 3 answers to choose from-they were awesome at that game!!
Then, we had a present that was wrapped with birthday wrapping paper, and there was a Bible question from the lessons we have been studying through in Luke on the outside. Each time they got a question right, they got to unwrap one layer of the present to get to the next question. At the end there was a box full of candy which everyone enjoyed!
This is almost the whole group that was there:
Overall, we think it was a successful party, everyone seemed to have a great time...and of course, it is hard to go wrong with cake!! ;)
