The $4,000 Dollar Challenge!

Last week we received our first check in support of our planned missions internship to Beijing. So we are now $500 closer to our goal of $49,800. We want to thank our friends from Edmond, OK for their generous support and partnership with us!

We also mailed fifteen letters to fifteen churches where friends serve on staff. We are prayerful as they pass these on to the missions committees at their congregations. Soon we will be mailing out personal letters like our last post to family and friends.

On Sunday, a member of our church pulled me aside and said that he would like to offer a $4,000 Dollar Challenge through his family. He said that they will match every dollar we receive up to $4,000 given by our friends and family between now and August. This is really exciting to us as we consider that this has the potential to generate $8,000 of support for our ministry!

Thanks for all the prayers, words of encouragement, and financial support. We consider ourselves blessed!
